The Artists Collective Krot & Co from Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands, works on installation art at specific places.
This work of art is composed of a large quantity of colourful synthetic forms originating from machinery of a former sweets factory. The work of art depicts the timemachine that in an endlessly driving stream of sound pushes time on and on. In this stream of sound you can hear historical fragments. Some of them aretaken from Dutch History (Queen Wilhelmina, Queen Juliana, Prime Minister Den Uyl, the Flood, train hijack, etc.), others are from International History (like speeches by Roosevelt, Kennedy, Bush, Churchill, Mandela, Lumumba, Stalin and many more).
Using a special keyboard visitors themselves can influence this stream of time by adding sounds or drowning the timemachine.
